Miss pageants are sort of a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, I love the idea of celebrating beauty of different countries. On the other hand, they celebrate a certain standard of beauty, which is evolving, but it’s still not as inclusive as it should be. I wanted to share the creative process of working with Miss World Mexico when she came to Canada!
Summer had some last rays to share, and now we’re back to our regular programming. Fall. I wanted something a bit more intimate and warm, and revisiting a softer version of a smoky, while keeping it smoldering for cooler nights. And some pause for Instagram vs Studio photography.
Meet Stephany, future bombshell! It was time to put on the blog my first plus size model, or should I say, normal size. And she was a dream to photograph! I finally could do some proper instaglam makeup. It was new territory, but you don’t learn anything by doing the same thing over and over.
