I’ve been enjoying the Chanel shows of the pas few years, because they tell a story, and this season Karl is telling us… stop obsession about the big money, just have fun !

I’ve always thought fashion and beauty were about having fun with your look, creating your own bubble, your own little you. Even the very fun and spunky Cara Delevingne has left fashion for movies! Even Asia is getting tired of the big brand luxury, looking for cool one of a kind pieces.

I remember a time before big companies came in and turned the fashion cottage industry into a money making industry. I remember couture being the Creme-de-la-creme, with people like Galliano and McQueen delivering amazing ideas. Chanel is one of the last big fashion houses keeping it fun these days, thanks to King Karl. At the head of one of the biggest fashion groups, is saying : relax!

And Karl knows, he’s got a finger on the pulse, not to mention that Korean beauty of brows and a bright mouth are again featured on the models, having fun! Make note, it’s not a fad, it’s a real influence.
